Max Planck research award is available to be applied by scientists and scholars from all nationalities. In every year, the Humboldt Foundation with the Max Planck Society provides 2 research awards to a researcher who working abroad and a researcher who working at Germany. These awards will be awarded in independently. These scholarships are offered starts from 3-5 years period. The deadline for application is 15th January 2016.
The scholarship is funded by The Humboldt Foundation and the Max Planck Society.

The scholarship will be awarded to researcher in Germany and international researcher.
These scholarships provided to pursue research program of life sciences in the field of Organismal Biology.
To be eligible for these scholarships,
- Applicant must be categorized as an excellent international with academic qualification (by awards, positive responses from publications, and etc.)
- Applicant’s expectation for keep their excellent academic achievements at international collaboration, not stopped to award’s assistance
- Nominated by a eligible person
- An expert reviews for international and Germany partners
Please note that the committee makes the decision based on the applicant’s academic qualifications.
The scholarship will be valued of €750,000 and can be used during 3-5 years period to fund the research undertaken.
The closing date for the scholarship application is 15th January 2016.
How to Apply
The procedure of applying can be made by post. Only the Presidents or Vice Chancellors of the universities and the Heads of Research Institutions are eligible to state the nominations. No direct applications can be accepted.
