MIDS-Managed Scholarships for Developing Countries Students in Switzerland 2014

MIDSProvided by the Geneva Law School and Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies, MIDS-Managed Scholarships are available for students from developing countries who meet difficulties to fund their studies. The scholarships will cover tuition fees and living expense during ten months of the program.

The scholarships are offered to students coming from developing countries


The scholarships are provided for pursuing MIDS LL.M program


To be considered, the applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • Demonstrating financial need to secure the studies
  • Demonstrating failure in securing loans or other available scholarships to finish the study
  • Coming from developing countries

Scholarship Value

The scholarships cover ten month of residency and schooling (tuition fees and living expenses)

Application Deadline

The applications must be submitted to the MIDS Committee no later than January 31, 2014

How to Apply

To apply for the scholarships, the applicants will need to complete the scholarship application form. The applicants must provide the documents of:

  1. Copies of official statements of income
  2. Official statement from bank or related institutions and/or tax forms showing assets and funds
  3. Copies of responses to other scholarships/loan requests or application (if applicable)

The documents need to be translated into English (not necessarily certified)
